Winter Immune Boost

2 Tablespoon Coconut Oil

1 heaping teaspoon Raw Honey

1 soft gel Garlic (cut and squeeze paste into other ingredients)

*Optional Effer-C Elderberry Effervescent Drink Mix

Stir all ingredients into a cup and give 1/4-1 teaspoon 3 times daily depending on severity. If your kids can handle more garlic then give more. Add a little more honey or a little less. The amounts do not need to be precise, remember, this is FOOD. Obviously the Garlic and Coconut Oil are the most important, so you want more of that, honey has excellent immune boosting, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities, but again it has much sugar, so we want as less as possible.

Play around and see what your kids like. If they will only take it with 3 teaspoons of honey, so be it! It’s much better than the over the counter synthetic chemicals. And, I have given my kids over the counter chemicals…it’s ok. Don’t beat yourself up! We all do the best we can and that is TOTALLY ENOUGH!
